The Encept environment and platform

We utilize server-level hardware with performance you can depend on. You won’t find mid-towers sitting in our datacenter. All of our servers contain multiple socket (physical) processors from Intel™ Xeon&trade and AMD™ Opteron&trade. We use registered memory with error checking and incorporate spare memory RDIMMS in our hardware configurations. Our hosting servers also incorporate RAID 1+0 or RAID 5 arrays to provide the highest available speed possible.

Additionally, we utilize multiple platforms for virtualization: Citrix XenServer (Xen HVM), VMware ESXi, OpenVZ, and VirtualBox. Each platform has its unique advantages and compatibility with requirements our customers have. Our virtualization hardware is some of the most stable in the industry and we are very proud of our current system status.

Our shared web-hosting platform utilizes one of the most stable and renowned platforms on the market, Interworx Cluster Panel. This platform was developed from the ground up with scalability, stability and speed in mind. It also has the ability to perform advanced load-balanced clustering, so we can keep your websites online and active through most anything.

Our Domain Name System (DNS) is hosted on a globally deployed Anycast-enabled network. This means that our customers websites load quickly worldwide, and domains continue to critical services such as e-mail (MX) records in the event that our hosting hardware or datacenter facilities go offline. Our DNS does not live on the same network(s) as our shared, virtualized or dedicated hardware platforms.
